Glycerol Adult 4g Suppositories

Designed to provide gentle and effective relief from occasional constipation. This pack of 12 suppositories is suitable for adults and offers a convenient and targeted solution for relieving constipation discomfort.

Glycerol suppositories for adults contain glycerol (4g) and other ingredients such as hard fat (Witepsol W35). One suppository may be inserted rectally every 12 hours for gentle and reliable relief.

Dosage:

Adults and children over 12 years: Wet the glycerin suppositories with clean water before gently putting one suppository into the rectum.

There shouldn't be a need for more than one dose because the effect is typically immediate.

Contains:

Glycerol 2.8g per suppository and adult glycerin suppository.

Caution:

Do not swallow. Not suitable for use in infants or children under 12 years.

Use with caution if the patient is known to have a bowel obstruction or if symptoms of nausea, vomiting, or stomach discomfort accompany constipation.

Unless your midwife or GP instructs you otherwise, not for use during pregnancy.
