Epimax Ointment for Dry Skin 

Epimax Ointment is an emollient, bath additive and soap substitute for the relief of dry skin in eczema, psoriasis and other dry skin conditions. Suitable for adults and children of all ages, including babies, it rubs into the skin easily, leaving a protective barrier that seals in water, leaving skin  feeling plump, soft and moist.

Epimax Ointment contains no preservatives, colourings, fragrances or ingredients derived from animals and is SLS-free, making it particularly suitable for sensitive skin that is very dry and/or cracked. It can be used in moderate to severe eczema and psoriasis as well as in conjunction with dry and wet  wrapping techniques.

Directions:

As an emollient on the skin

Apply Epimax Ointment to the affected skin area and smooth gently onto the skin in the direction of the hair growth. Apply as frequently as required.

As a skin cleanser/soap substitute

Scoop a small amount from the tub, lather under warm water and then use as you would for a normal soap when washing or in the shower.

In the bath as a bath additive

To use in the bath, take 4g from the tub. Melt this in a tumbler of hot water, ensuring it has cooled sufficiently before adding to the bath.

Do not apply hot water directly to the skin.

When using Epimax Ointment as a bath additive, care should be taken, as it will make the surface of the bath slippery.
